Budapest, XVIII. kerület CLT építés
Our customer was looking for environmentally friendly, fast, energy-efficient construction technology, so we recommended CLT for his family house to be built for sale!
CLT is not a lightweight construction solution, the strength of wall structures is marked with C24 in the same way as for concrete. It has a large heat storage capacity and cools down more slowly than concrete, but it is five times lighter. Its fire resistance is excellent and it fully complies with fire protection regulations. The strong transverse design of CLT provides exceptional structural stability. CLT support structures are designed based on Eurocode 5.
When joining the panels, a special seal is used in all cases, so the passive house certification is also available. It cleans the air and removes bacteria from it. Wood is a natural moisture regulator that absorbs and releases moisture according to prevailing conditions, thus regulating indoor air quality. In case of higher humidity, it binds the vapor from the air, and then releases it in case of low humidity.
The structure was completed in 7 days, and our partner Az Én Fám Kft. made a video about it:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
- geothermal ground probe cooling-heating system, with hot water supply
- surface cooling-heating
- windows and doors with 3-layer thermal protection glazing (Kömmerling)
- roof structure with nail plates, with tile covering
- quality coverings, sanitary ware, faucets (new owner can choose)
- 15 cm facade rock wool insulation
The house is currently at a 70% completion level due to waiting for utilities.
